Google announced that it will gradually activate a new feature called Recommendations in Search Console, which is still in the experimental phase.
Basically, what it offers us is a panel with optimization opportunities, among which it suggests actions that webmasters can take to improve their web positioning in Google Search .
Since this is an experimental phase, not all site owners may be able to see it within their Search Console.
Technically, this is because Google has no advice to give you, either because your website is efficiently optimized or because you are not yet in the group of users who can test this option.
“This is an experimental feature, and not all sites will have recommendations at this stage; we will be rolling this feature out slowly over the coming months,” Google explained.
It should also be noted that this type of advice should not be taken at face value. The search engine suggests a series of improvements that webmasters should undertake or not, according to their own criteria.
The new recommendations could be warnings of:
- Problems that could be solved
- Opportunities to improve web traffic
- Setting up features to improve SEO work
“They can help you prioritize your search optimization efforts, such as using structured data to help Google understand your content, adding sitemaps, and reviewing trending queries and pages,” Google concluded.
