Gmail unsubscribe newsletter
You will soon be able to unsubscribe from newsletters in just a few clicks.

Google is currently rolling out a new feature that allows you to manage your subscriptions in Gmail.

If your inbox is overflowing, here’s a new feature that should make your life easier. According to 9to5Google, Gmail is introducing a new feature that allows you to more quickly unsubscribe from newsletters you’re no longer interested in, allowing you to quickly sort through them.

A new interface for managing your newsletter subscriptions

According to the specialist media, a new page called ”  Manage your subscriptions  ” will gradually be rolled out, accessible directly from the Gmail app. This interface offers an overview of all the newsletters you’re subscribed to, as well as the number of emails each sender has recently sent you. A button on the right side of the screen then allows users to unsubscribe in just a few clicks.

The feature is currently only available to a handful of Android users, and we don’t yet know the full rollout. According to the Gmail help page, ”  the ability to manage email subscriptions is being rolled out gradually,” across desktop, iOS, and Android.

How to unsubscribe from unwanted newsletters?

To view and manage your subscriptions in Gmail, the procedure is very simple:

  • Open the Gmail app and click the drop-down menu in the top left corner,
  • Scroll down to the bottom of the menu and tap Manage Subscriptions, which is located under the trash can,
  • You can unsubscribe by clicking on the envelope icon located to the right of your emails,
  • Now you just need to confirm by clicking on Unsubscribe.

It may take several days to process your unsubscribe request. Therefore, you may continue to receive emails for a short period of time. Some emails may also redirect you to another browser window to complete the process.
